This is an excellent opportunity to develop the digital capacity of your business, by going online for the first time or taking your existing site to the next level.

Costs covered under the grant include

  • Salary costs of a senior project champion (manager level or above) in the applicant company to work with AB Commerce
  • Fees of AB Commerce to develop a digital strategy
  • Fees of AB Commerce to further develop/enhance the company’s transactional website or online presence. The grant must be used to introduce additional functionality
  • In-house training for eMarketing, catalogue management, e-commerce systems, SEO, etc.. provided by abcommerce to enable a company to develop and maintain a robust online retail operation

For existing AB Commerce clients

You may be approached by 3rd parties to do an application for you.

It’s important that you contact us first as we have a structured approach for working with 3rd parties to ensure that they work with your technology correctly – and we can then fit them into this structure as part of your application. This way you get the best out of their skillset.

Application process

We approached Magico about applying for the EI Online Retail Scheme Grant and the opportunity to build a transactional site for Cunningham's Pharmacy.  We were delighted with the level of support and guidance the Magico team provided to us.  Their experience and insight, contributed to a successful application that incorporated all of the elements we required to get our online store up and running on the AB Commerce platform and ensure its visibility once live.

Following a successful application for the government’s COVID-19 Online Retail Scheme, we were able to move to a new platform with Magico / AB Commerce that integrates with our EPOS for live stock levels. Our new Stakelums website has brought additional functionality and has addressed issues with load speed, responsive design and UX that were present on our old website.
